The source code is open, but the maintainer is busy with real life and had some
major health issues. Its functional for end node ftn messages, but you cant hub
on it. But you might be able to use wwivtoss to do what you need to do.

Yes, there is, but to be fair, we don't talk about WWIV much on WWIVnet either,
