Hello,
I was wondering if qwk accounts were unable to post messages. I've been trying to set up a program to post a qwk packet through telneting but I keep getting "no permission to post" errors. Any advice or alternatives would be helpful.

Are you referring to "QWKnet accounts"? Those are for QWK networking, so they're restricted to posting on QWK-networked sub-boards only. A regular (non-QWKnet) account can post (via QWK) any sub-board the sysop allows users to post to.
Regular users should use regular user accounts to upload QWK packets.

Oh... are you allowed to set up a bot to post a qwk through a normal user account?

I suppose that's up to the sysop of the BBS in question, but unless you're abusing some rule about posting, I don't think anybody would care if it's posted by "a bot" or a human.
