not sure what you mean copy fossil to win32 system. I am using the local installed fossil in SBBS.

For 16-bit DOS program support, the Synchronet Windows NT FOSSIL driver (sbbsexec.dll) must also be copied to the Windows System32 folder. See the sbbsexec.dll FAQ for details.

Well i did figure some things out.
    1) tppatch did not patch the exe. files like I thought, I thought the patch exe auto found and patched the files, nope have to do each one in cmd

i dont know why you are talking about tppatch.
you dont have to use that all the time. it's for the rte200 bug

    2) the syncterm I am using I had for some reason redue the
terminal, for ASCII. But I do thank you for your reply.

    what

I even got SRE to run on synchronet BBS.
So after a lot of head pounding, I'm taking a break.

okay you didnt do any of the stuff i asked.
you're not a person that people can help. you do not provide
    necessary information.

SBBSEXEC.DLL is the 32-bit portion of the Synchronet Virtual UART/FOSSIL driver. And it's automatically copied to the Windows system32 director upon install (and has been very *many* years/versions of Synchronet).

Ah. I only ever ran the installer once when I first installed Synchronet in 2007. Over the years, I'd moved my BBS to different PCs (physical and virtual) several times, so I'd manually copy that DLL (I didn't think there would be a need to run the installer again).

i would think only the new new people would have used the installer.
there's been so many gaps from full releases so we've just been updating via the cvs or vert and now git.
