So picked up a couple of interesting pieces at an LGS a couple of towns away. Had to have them "just because."
First one is a Jukar caplock black powder pistol, .54 caliber. Missing the rear sight, but otherwise intact and functional. Cost me all of
fifty bucks. I figure for that price even if it turns out to be a wall hanger then it's worth it.
Second piece is a CMC four-barrelled percussion cap pepperbox type
pistol, .36 caliber. Completely intact, completely functional and at
the whopping cost of one Benjamin. Again, if nothing but a wall-hanger
it would have been worth it. Kinda looking forward to shooting this
thing just once to see how well I can shoot a firearm with a miserable trigger and no sights at all. Should be fun.
Well, that's all for now folks. Just wanted to drop in and see what
was going on...

Bad ass. That first gun sounds really good for reinactment. I do a few,
I would love to see pictures.
The pepperbox is a cool novelty, especially for that cheap.
Nice finds.

They're on thier way there. If all works as hoped, you should have seen them well before reading this reply.
