• Port Binding Crashs

From Xofraq@VERT/MICROBUR to All on Thu Aug 29 07:31:24 2024
    Hello All,

    Hope everyone is well.

My new system has been crashing and looking to see if anyone might find these errors familar. For example - !ERROR 98 binding Telnet Server Socket alredy in use. This happens for all the services and then i will see some garbled text. I have to reboot Linux and fire the BBS back up. Not sure if there is a time patern yet, I will be watching for that. Any thoughts or is this too vague?

    I am running:
    Synconet for Linux 3.20
    Debian GNU/Linux 12
    Raspberry Pi 6.6.31+rpt-rpi-v8

Are you saying that Sychronet is crashing? Do you have a backtrace (from core dump) to share?

I think I was rushing reboots. I haven't seen the issue since. I have to learn to be patient.:-)
